The long awaited skin care routine is here. Well, one of them at least.
There are so many skin care routines out there, and what works for some people may not work for others. 🤷♀️
Alessya Farrugia walks us through the skin care routine that completely cleared her acne. Hearing that, we felt it was worth a shot to watch it.
Skin Care First
To start off the video, Alessya says you need facewash. She felt that when she used products filled with chemicals her acne was SO much worse. 🧪
Less chemicals = less acne.
Alessya vouges for natural products in her skin care routine now because she felt they did wonders for her skin. She suggests using a facebrush with her natural face wash, noting that a little goes a long way.
Next in for her skin care, is an exfoliate.
Alyssa warns to do this only twice a week. Exfoliating too often can damage the skin.
Follow-up for exfoliation, is a toner. She uses this to reduce the size of her pores, this is even more apparent when the toner is alcohol-free.
The last couple products and steps in the skin care routine include a serum, moisturizer, eye gel, and sunscreen. 🔆
Moisturizer, Alyssa says is to even out your skin and take away blemishes. Which is a miracle, moisturizer is everything! Everyone needs to get on board with it because it will save your skin.
Eye gel is a priority because it reduces puffiness. And I only would allow bags under my eyes if they were Prada. 👜
Sunscreen, again, will SAVE YOUR SKIN. Believe us when we tell you, moisturizer and sunscreen are like peanut butter and jelly. You want to keep young, tight skin forever.
